Hill has a $12.8M cap hit this season but it balloons to $31M next season with $33.9M in dead money so while a big chunk of change to eat, they could actually save roughly $14M next season if they designate him a post June 1st cap hit....doubtful given his production.
As for Howard, somewhat similar in that his cap hit for this season is $10M but it balloons to $25.9M next season with $23M in dead money.

diggs is going to cost far more than howard, tua is on a rookie deal, they just released byron and have very cheap rbs

Tua jumps to $23 million next season. He also will need a new deal. Waddle is a few years away

Sounds like Ramsey had a list of preferred destinations and Miami was atop that list. We don't know where Dallas factors in that, assuming they even made an offer.
