Dak better stay healthy and not struggle. Lance could easily do to Dak did to Romo and Romo did to Bledsoe.

Lance would have to start in the regular season and then perform just as very good to great for this to happen. Also we would first have to see how Trey Lance performs against regular season defensive game plans. Where DCs will be throwing more complicated play calls and packages at him. And where the opposing team's starting defense would be playing the entire game.

He has performed better than he did in the first preseason game. But the regular season is the true test to see how far he has come as a QB and whether or not he can be considered the starter for the Cowboys for the for seeable future.
