Part of Lance's development is seeing the field and processing defenses. This vanilla game plan doesn't help with any of that. Plus receivers aren't getting any separation because the play calling is so predictable forcing Lance to hold on to the ball longer or force throws. That also doesn't help him develop in any way.

Every QB deals with the same thing.

That Int had nothing to do with play calling. He threw the ball behind the receiver on an out pass. That is textbook no no that every QB on earth knows they aren’t supposed to do.
