Until we see Dak in game action we won't know how mobile he is any more. The expectation given his injury is that he won't be as mobile. Since the ankle injury he isn't close to having the same running ability as before that injury. He just isn't that QB any more.

So that shifts the conversation to him being this "brilliant pocket presence pocket passer" so he can get away with not being a running QB. Yeah no one will use those words to describe Dak. He just isn't that QB.

So in conclusion, considering he is the highest paid player in the history of the NFL.......well you know.

Actually interesting didn’t know he ran that much in 2023. The most rushing yards of his career which is a far cry from the statue he’s being labeled out to be.

Dak was never fleet of foot, but pre-injury Dak (the ankle) was much more willing to run. I think the injuries are mounting as is father time ticking. I admit I didn't listen to the fisher you tube but basing it just on thread title I wouldn't hold too many high expectations on ever seeing pre injury Dak again.

I think dak is plenty capable of leading the offense to good things without being the guy he was in 2016. If he has the blocking and the running game improves we should compete every game. Hes got another weapon so CeeDee is not the only threat. He will need to scramble some its inevitable but time will tell how good hell be at it
