The Rams were supposed to be an easy win for Dallas this season, and yet we got blown out. THe Rams haven't won a single game since then.

Our schedule doesn't matter.

Nothing's an easy win with Brad Johnson at QB and Brian Stewart calling the defense.

Scenario 1: Jerry has coronary, lands in hospital. Son Stephen appoints Reeves GM. Team releases Owens. Drafts true safety and jitterbug receiver. Cowboys Win Superbowl.

Scenario 2: Jerry meets Jesus in alley. Hands football reigns to almost anyone willing to fire Owens. Drafts true safety and jitterbug receiver. Cowboys Win Superbowl.

Scenario 3: All 31 other teams die in plane crashes. Jerry's genius is validated. Cowboys Win Superbowl.

Scenario 4: Replace Flozell. Romo gets more time to throw, gets sacked less, fumbles less, doesn't force as many passes. The receivers are able to get open because the play has the time to develop. A lot less drives are stopped by pre snap penalties. Cowboys win Super Bowl.

Worked against Tampa. In fact, BJ matched Romo by having 1 full game turnover free this season.

My point is that the schedule and its relative level of difficulty means nothing with the Cowboys. It cannot be used to accurately predict how things will go.

This team isn't anywhere near an imminent collapse and hopelessness is absurd. We already improved our special teams by getting one the best special teams coaches in the leagues, which rectifies the major problem of this team, with the exception of Garrett. But even with Garrett, we have enough talent to overcome his stupidity. And I'm sure this year, he will pay special attention to the running game, because if he doesn't, his butt is going to get slammed...

Yeah, I look at Romo, Witten, TO, Roy Williams, Barber, Felix Jones, DeMarcus Ware, Jay Ratliff, Terence Newman, etc. and think, how will we ever win a game?

I don't think he was talking about winning a game. I think he was talking about the 13 years playoff wins drought. I'm sure there are a lot of people satisfied with the situation at VR. People continue to post that Jerry is the greatest owner in the NFL Well la de da.
I have been a fan under EVERY owner and EVERY GM and EVERY coach in the history of the Cowboys. There was always something that would give some hope during the worst of times.

The bottom line, the only time Dallas has won a SB under Jerry was when Jimmy was the coach and had enough power and authority to make critical coaching/players' decisions, and when Switzer won a SB with Jimmy's team.
This last week, as I understand it, Jerry said that he had made every decision about every player and every coach and position coach, etc. in the 23 years he has owned the Cowboys.

That is a laugh. How do I know? Because if this were true then Jimmy would never have won any SBs. Probably we would now be talking about a 23 years drought.
