..and eliminate any possibility of having to possibly face them later..?

I'd rather meet any team in the playoffs that we haven't already met during the season if possible.

Obviously, that means more preparation and less familiarity with our schemes going into the game for the opposition.

it then give the Cowboys the advantage.

I think if we lose to the Commanders, it will not be any advantage to us. It will allow a team that has played us twice have a chance of playing us a 3rd time in one season and the last games would have been very close together.

I don't think Dallas wants to see the Commanders get on a roll more than they are by beating us and then possibly have to see them again a 3rd time.

It gets hard to have any advantagess at that point for either team and it can then be a game where a fumble or INT in a close game ends the season.

Me, I'd rather play TB or Seattle or somebody else we haven't played yet this year. Same thing with the Vikes and especially the Giants.

I'm not going to be excited about the Giants coming in having lost two games to us this season.

Very, very rarely do you win three games from a team in the same year. It's just hard to show them anything new offensively or defensively they haven't already seen..making preparation less difficult and emotion plays a bigger part for the team that has been beaten twice.

I'm not AFRAID of any NFC team coming in here to play us. I am concerned with some more than others as far as the matchups and where the advantages will fall.

We're going to play someone in Texas Stadium regardless of who it is. Or don't you realize that? I won't be shocked if you don't.

How?

Well that means Commanders gets in. But if Commanders win in the Wild Card Game. That means we play them again in Texas Stadium.... It would be bitter sweet to beat them in the playoffs.

I DO NOT want to face a red hot team like the Skins in the playoffs.

They know our team inside and out, plus Gibbs has the ability to outcoach Phillips easily considering their postseason and career coaching track records.

Also let's not forget Romo's postseason history as well.....

That's the way Parcells said he would play it. Of course, he doesn't have to face the consequences of a starter getting injured.

How is either relevant if we rest our startes. What real advantage do the Skins get from beating our backups? If we win, we won't have to beat the Skins 3 times in a season unless both the Saints and Vikings screw up

Dont worry "our team" will never have to play the Deadskins and their journeyman career backup QB.

Why?

Because the SeaChickens are going to (#$%^&)-slap them just like in 05:D
