Loss and Gain

I have been reading a lot about how our offseason has sucked and we havent done anything to help the team. We are ranked very low on all the preseason polls,etc... Some of our gains and losses....


7.RW38=rubbish

8.HENRY=Could have played safety,sucks at CB,Kitna is a better pickup

The Gains outweigh the Losses by a distance. If we stay healthy we have a lot to look forward to.

Pretty good summary.
RW38, injured, even though you are pretty right on, but even with the broken arm, he was pretty much done.
Henry, seemed injured often and his play at CB was getting worse. Not even sure he could have played S. That was the consensus, at least with the fans. But without seeing him there, we can't say. And the coaching staff may have thought that also, because that move never happened. Especially with the play of Scandrick.

can you guarantee Burnett on the field to get the production you think he has?

Cant even guarantee Burnett gets on the field. Only thing worse than WR made of glass is a LB made of glass.

1.KOSIER-Obviously a huge contributer and brains behind the Oline.He is a gain,we didnt have him last year.

2.FELIX-No Need To Explain

3.MCBRIAR-Possibly the best punter in the NFL

4.KITNA-Finally a true backup QB that can win.If we had him last year we are in playoffs.

5.BARBER-Hurt all December

6.NEW SPECIAL TEAMS COACH-No Need To Explain

7.AUSTIN-Injured most of last season

8.SENSABAUGH-From what I have read this guy can ball,imagine that,a safety that can cover.

9.ALL THE DRAFT PICKS-Special teams right off the bat,along with some potential playmakers

10.NEWMAN=Healthy finally,crosses fingers

Losses:

1.TO=He has lost a step, but its a big loss no matter how u cut it.TO is a baller.

2.ZACH THOMAS-The midget can tackle,but Brookings is about the same

3.TANK=rubbish

4.PAC=Cant get his head out of his rear

5.CANTY=DECENT,Olshansky about the same

6.BURNETT=glass

7.RW38=rubbish

I would be amazed if Burnett played all 16 games for the Chargers. He is made of glass and can't stay healthy, regardless of his ability. I think that is the reason he was not seriously given consideration with a richer contract. He cannot be trusted to stay on the field.
