Back in the late 70s, I was given a Dallas Cowboys Jacket for Christmas. It had grey/silver vinyl sleeves (imitation leather) and the rest of the jacket was a wool cowboy blue. The buttons were medal and round and most importantly it had a round/circular cowboy's patch or emblem on the front chest left side of the jacket. I cannot find any information about this awesome Dallas Cowboy boyhood jacket. Of course I outgrew mine and my parents probably sold it or gave it away, I have no idea. Does anyone remember or have any info on this or even a picture of this jacket?!

No but I had a jacket just like the one you described when I was a kid. It was cool looking like a letterman’s jacket

Yeah, I know the ones. Those jackets are still out there.

My daughter picked one up at a Goodwill store a few years ago.

I had one of those too... I used to play football in it with the neighborhood kids in winter... It got pretty torn up so I'm not sure what became of it.

Sounds like a "Varsity" style jacket. I remember those and have seen those off and on on ebay etc.

Reebok or Nike has made a similar style I remember seeing in just the past few years.

I am sitting here looking at a pic of me wearing that same jacket when i was a kid...my mom took it at a comic book store while getting autographs from people dressed up like superheros. God i loved that jacket, silver sleeves and all. When friends give me grief about being a bandwagon fan i show them this pic...proud member of the cowboy fan family since the very early 70's

The emblem on the chest was a Cowboys football helmet wasn't it?

Man, that I loved that jacket. I had the knit cap with the ball thingy on top too. Some very fond memories indeed of the early 70s.

OMG...I had that hat too

So did I.:)
I also had a replica Danny White jersey and my twin brother had a Dorsett jersey. The same Christmas we got the jerseys we also got Cowboys helmets, shoulder pads and pants. I remember my older brothers making a line in the snow (like a sideline) and forcing us to run the line so they could get "the angle" us and lay us out into a snow bank. God, sometimes I really want to get back at my older brothers.

Never had the jacket as a kid. I still have the hat (skullcap / toboggan) with the snowball thingy on top, atleast that's what I call it. Because the hat is knit, it still can fit on my head.

My youngest little monster wears it sometimes when its cold and snowing. Of course is a little big from being stretched out over the years but it covers his head and neck really well.

Throwback hand-me-downs.

Add me to the list as having had the jacket and the cap with the fuzzy ball on top.
