I have never been to Philly but appearantly there are alot of young Cowboys fans there.

The guys on WIP are talking about all the kids that are wearing Cowboys jerseys around Philadelphia, in particular, Romo and T.O. jerseys.

They even admit that their city has a history of losing and if it doesn't field a winner in the near future in any of the big sports they are going to lose alot of their fanbase.

They have been fielding calls from fans about what to do with McNabb as far as trades and whether to sit him or not in the next couple of games.

It is amazing how hyped up they are about this being Dallas Week and playing the Cowboys. I just don't think anybody in Dallas really cares that we are playing the Eagles.

They must be ugly Cowboy fans, but Cowboys fans at the end of the day....

The Cowboys are spreading their seed everywhere.

lol its true they are going nuts about Dallas week.

its even more funny because I could care less about Philly, I kinda want Dallas to start giving more breathers to players and give them a little rest for the playoffs; but theyre ready to go guns-a-blazin with us.

Everyone of the fans could swear to never root for the team again. But if they started winning again next year (or 3 years from now) the fans would all be back claiming they've always been diehard fans.

A lot of fans are just fickle, fairweather fans and that includes most teams. Especially 40 Whiner fans.

That's why I appreciate this forum so much. Most of us have been here (and on the previous board) through a lot of lean years. Still rooting, still cheering. Thank heavens we now have a championship quality team to cheer for.

A lot of Eagles fans liked TO and sided with him in the whole "TO/McNabb" feud.

Now that McNabb is showing his true sucky colors, I think those fans would rather have TO back.

Doesn't surprise me that some of them have defected to the star!

And see, if you ask me, I would have considered them to be a generation found.

You say tomato, I say tomato..........

I hope our team is more prepared this week. The team had its christmas party last night, last week they had owens party.

I hope back to work wednesday brings back the killer attitude we had going into philly. I am pretty sure that philly defense will be looking to get revenge.

We are going to get everything they got sunday, just like detroit and they are a much better team.

Now having said that, Mcnabb has looked absolutely horrendous all year and continued that last week. So if we get some pressure on him early he may throw us a few and set up easy scores.

I expect our team to come out and play a really great game & totally dominant the Eagles. I expect the defense to make a lot of big plays (including several sacks and at least 1 INT) and I want our offense to get on the board early and often. If we do all the above, we should win 35-14.

I find it hard to believe that the defense will put up the same kind of performance (if you can call it that) they did in motown, so I would expect not hope.. EXPECT.. that the defense will come out and dominate against McFlabb and Westbrook, if they don't forget the SB

So if we lose to Philadelphia we can forget about the SB?

I personally think this team is due for a letdown game.

We have clawed our way out of some holes but I wouldn't be surprised if we lost one more game.

The Boyz need to sweep the NFCE...for once! The last time it was done was with Gailey as the coach...let's do it again.

Also, if the Cowboys get the win against the eagles, they need to win that last game against the Commanders...we need the sweep.

;)

There always was a lot of Cowboy fans here, it's just they want underground for awhile and now they are back out, that's why people call us fairweather fans, the sports bar I go to see the Cowboys had just me and a friend of mine during the Campo years now the place is packed.

Yep... there were philly fans in Philly cheering when TO scored on them earlier in the season.....

We could be due for a letdown game and I think we got it from the defense sunday (thanks to ware being sick).

I want to beat philly personally. Rub it in their face the way they did in 01, 02,03,04 when they won the division and were down here celebrating, like emmit's last game.

This could be mcnabb's last game in Dallas as an eagle, so I hope we beat him up pretty good.

Oh and I dont think there is anyway carolina hangs with us even on a bad day.

So that leaves washington. Now I fear the injury, but I still want our starters to play the first half. I want to win that game. I dont know if gibbs will retire, It could be pointing that way if they dont get that last wildcard spot. So if in fact it is gibbs last game, I want him to go out the same way he came back in 04, when we went up there in week 2 for monday night football and beat them.

Oh and the last time gibbs retired from the Commanders was 92, many will recall they beat us on that bogus fumble in the endzone by aikman, that emmitt picked up and then fumbled again!! Well that was gibbs last season, they narrowly missed the playoffs and philly got there spot in the end.....well the last time and place we lost in 92 was Washington to a gibbs coached team fighting for a wild card spot........sound familiar...
