Lost In The Shuffle, These 10 Players Shouldn’t Be Overlooked in 2018

At first he was the guy the Cowboys got in the Ryan Switzer trade. But after the injury to Maliek Collins, Ward could be counted on quite heavily. He wasn’t a great fit in Oakland’s scheme but could be the perfect fit as the 3-technique with his ability to get up the field.
Just like the Cowboys are hoping a new start will help Tavon Austin, the same could be said for Ealy, who was once a highly-regarding draft prospect by the Cowboys. He’s had some good moments but found himself in a different scheme with the Jets. Don’t overlook him as a player that takes to good coaching and rejuvenates himself as a 4-3 rusher.
One Cowboys scout said Cannon has “turned the corner” from some of his off-field issues that got him cut by other clubs last year. A true speedster who put up big numbers at Baylor, Cannon could be a difference-maker because few players can run with him.
One of the first new additions to this roster in free agency, Olawale isn’t exactly a new face. He nearly made the Cowboys’ roster in 2010 but is back to handle fullback duties, but can be more of an H-back pass-catcher as well. He’s also a special teams veteran that will be integral on all units.
