Lost in this ugly victory...Mike Jenkins

He is our best corner. He still makes mistakes from time to time, but by years end he will be sick.

Or, by years end, he'll be home watching the playoffs. This team has got to gel right away to have a chance. Atlanta looked really good today, with a second year quarterback.

The Cowboys had 498 net yards today, and 13 penalties for 90 yards. A lot of those penalties were on the offense.

Are you forgetting his foot injury late in the game?
I'm just saying.

People need to put the anointing oil away.

Well you are saying it very poorly.
What am I saying poorly? Jenkins is playing solid right now, but I'm not ready to call him our best corner just yet.

One thing some people look past is this year he is actually doing well in the run game. He is a very solid tackler.

you stated because he played poorly at the end of the game he is not as great as everyone is saying. Then I pointed out it was absurd to hold that against him as he was injured then. If you are going to make a point at least back it up properly. Whether or not if your point is valid.

If he was injured, he should have stayed on the sideline.

If he's on the field and gives up a TD, I'm gonna hold it against him.

If you look at the replay, you can see Jenkins get broken down at the LOS, and get's beat to the inside by Bowe.

Doesn't matter, you are saying that since he sucked at the end of the game that is reason enough to put down the annoiting oil, even though he is injured. Or are you saying since he wouldn't go out when injured that means he is not as good as everyone is saying? Your logic is just plain silly.

I'm glad that after the game where Jenkins got destroyed for a missed tackle against the Giants, and I said that he was still a good corner, that everyone is coming around now. Welcome!

and alot of them were on defense...5 offsides...1 defensive holding, one personal foul

What is also lost in this W is that we rushed for 145 yards without The Cat. Not too shabby..
....and we only ran the ball like 20 times.

try not to hurt your shoulder ;)

Mike Jenkins made a play on Bowe in overtime that saved that game. Aikman highlighted the play and Jenkins' overall play.

It was a great play.

Bowe pushed off on the TD, and the safety looked way late. Where was the help on the inside?

Jenkins is playing pretty good, still growing into a starting NFL CB though... That touchdown was crucial!

The personal foul was a bad call imo and I can live with that call because Ball made a nice play

Oh I agree, but it was called.

Actually a couple of those offsides were pretty questionable as well.

The game was VERY poorly officiated.

I am glad Jenkins is settling in nicely. He and Scandrick are the future. They'll take their lumps and come out winners next year under the new coach. I was definitely wrong in thinking Jenkins wasn't very good at all and didn't like contact. He is doing an exceptional job of proving me wrong every game and I love it. Mark my words though, Jenkins and Scandrick are the future at corner for the Boys.

Are you forgetting him getting abused by Bowe at the end of the 4th quarter?

He didn't get abused, he played it perfect. I was Hamlins sorry arse who had inside coverage and didn't do his job..
