I wasn't really focused on Taco but I didn't hear his name called in a good way all night long. I didn't notice him making any plays. Have we lost a Taco?

It looked like Marineli was hesitant to play him for any significant amount of time, for some reason he wanted Mayowa to get the bulk of the snaps even though he was useless.

There is a 50-50 chance that squirrel running around the field yesterday got a higher PFF score than Tom Brady.

It looked like Marineli was hesitant to play him for any significant amount of time, for some reason he wanted Mayowa to get the bulk of the snaps even though he was useless.

Maybe it's because Taco just isn't currently good enough to get playing time. I don't know the percentage of snaps Tapper received in this game, but you hear his name called or see him flash at least occasionally. It didn't seem like Tapper had a lot of snaps this game.

With Moore coming back next week, a DE may become inactive Monday night. May be Taco. May be Mayowa. May be someone else.

He was rated as a second round pick that we took simply because there weren't 32 players rated a first round picks, IIRC. This last draft was not deep as far as first round talent goes. He will take time and I have my doubts that he will ever be a "war daddy" JJ wanted. I will be disappointed if he doesn't start soon and become a guy who can get us 7-9 sacks a year on average. As long as he outplays Crawford, I can't complain too loudly.

So basically a performance from a guy we could have gotten in the late rounds. Awesome.

Why they passed on Watt is ridiculous.

He didn't get that many snaps yesterday. He didn't stand out. He got pressure a couple times. Mayowa was god awful, worse than when he got benched last year. Moore should be able to step in for Mayowa.

Mayowa stinks, at least I saw Taco get pressure a couple of times...I think he will be fine. I think Moore will bring something to the table too, have always seen him on the same side as Tank, can he play the other side?
