I don't know the current dynamic on play calling. I just know that Jason Garrett is a superior offensive mind than Bill Callahan.

I was just glad to finally see us use play action as well as using successful running plays to set up the pass. Most of the time this year we have followed up a successful run with another run and another one. You only run in the NFL to keep other teams honest IMO. Running successful 20-30 times a game does not win you a ball game - passing the ball downfield does.

The best way to be successful passing downfield is having a running game that is a threat.

The art is in calling the right play at the right time. The plays themselves are just a means to an end. That being moving the ball and scoring points.

This. Some people have issues with this concept, but you don't run successfully to win, you run successfully so it opens up your passing game which ultimately wins you ball games.
