I hear ya hostile... Watching those kids pulling together and playing as a team just reinforced why we are stuck at 4-4 right now. Rutgers played to win and it seems our Cowboys are playing not to lose.
You said it better than I ever could have. Playing not to lose.

Carry the defensive coordinator for having the balls to blitz every single down.
You damn right!!!

or Rice, who ran the ball down their throats.

Or the QB who never got rattled.

Love this game.

Thing is guys Florida plays easy teams and I don't see how Texas can get ahead of them unless they lose or have a close game.

The thing is that Florida and the SEC teams have basically maxed out computer point wise while Texas continues to grow and has alot more room to grow.

Texas is basically tied with Florida right now and if they wax K-State and A&M, they could really pull ahead...but their trap is the Big XII Champ game.

Except when they are harassing the opposing teams players like some of the Rutgers fans did to a Louisville player who was laying face down on the turf in disbelief.

I am surprised this doesnt lead to more violent conflicts.
Well that certainly isn't cool. Those fans are lucky they didn't get their butts kicked.

I think the initial elation is cool. Something about it. But displaying anything other than simple joy over the win is not.

Umm....there was 10,000 fans on the field - I think it's vice versa...

I think Texas will give the #1 team the best game.

Ah one more road block out of Texas way, now we just need Ohio St to beat Michigan and we will get a rematch with them for the National championship. the thing that hurt Texas in the BCS standings was Sam Houston St but now next week Florida plays West Carolina and that will really drag their BCS standings below Texas. Plus if Ohio St beats Michigan in a close game, the voters will not drop Michigan below 3, putting Texas at 2 which would put Florida at 4 which would end any chance of them havin a chance at the NT

And OSU will destroy McCoy again...he's not ready to beat a team like that.

McCoy now >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> than he was when they two teams met each other at the beginning of the season. Im not saying im confident Texas would win because if i had to bet i would pick Ohio St but McCoy is playing like a Heisman candidate right now and he will give Ohio St a run for their money in the rematch if it happens. Also we would have Brown this time at CB and we wouldnt have as many mismatches as we did the first game

it's scary how good colt mccoy could be by the time he is a senior.

i think because he looks like a 13 year old nobody took him serious.

he is however the real deal.
outstanding poise and leadership this young man posesses.

jevon snead will probably transfer.....hopefully to a&m:)

Yeah no doubt that Snead will probably transfer, better not be a&m though. Snead was considered too before the season started by Texas fans to be the better QB (i admit i was one of them) but Colt has proved us wrong and not only will he have a chance to win a heisman in the next couple of years but he will have a chance to join Vince as the next Texas QB to be drafted in the 1st rd.

i think he should be one of the heisman finalists this year.

freshman or not...he's had an outstanding season.

I feel like Ohio State last year when they wanted another crack at Texas.

Texas moved the ball on the ground easily against the Buckeyes but left 10 points on the field, including a 14 point swing to give The Buckeyes the lead.

This Texas offense is completely different from then in terms of the passing game and the D would actually have a chance to be healthy.

Plus, Chizik would get another shot to scheme since he admitted that he had the wrong schemes for Ohio State and misjudged what they were going to do.

Texas would have a shot. Plus, I don't want to have a crappy bowl game in the Fiesta against Boise Freaking State.
