I usually don't give any credence to the "anti cowboy bias" theory...but last night was awful.

We heard, time and again about the Giant injuries...we even saw graphics.

Yet, we lost Ferguson...came into the game without Newman, Ellis, Glenn...and next to NOTHING was made of it.

We heard about the Giant's not quitting...how about the Cowboy's not quitting. From what I recall, the Giants scored first.

AND this on and on and on blabber about Manning. Please shoot me.

How on earth is Manning the story when Romo put up better numbers? Isn't the story, "Hey...look...a guy who was a walk on is putting up better numbers than a guy who the Giant's gave up draft picks to select at the top of the draft"

Great story line.

The coverage of this game was awful.

Also "Roy Williams is getting murdered", while Adrian Wilson and Will Demps were getting more murdered.

My guess is that the networks are constantly pimping Eli so that they will (finally) have TWO golden boys to promote the league instead of only his big brother.

and when they put up a graphic of Giant injuries, including Dockery, a second stringer...it just blows the mind.

Ellis out. Starter
Glenn out. Starter
Ferguson out. Starter
Newman out. Starter.

OY.

Gibril Wilson.

And Roy did not have a good game, that's for sure. He'll get more knocks because he's a big name.

Yep. Madden particularly will single out a few guys and just keep at it over and over regardless of what is actually going on during the game.

Michaels hates Dallas...he always has and always will

but it was extremely annoying of them acting like the Giants were missing half their team, when we were missing 4 key starters as well...

and at least they got SOME plays with those guys...we got zilch from Newman, Glenn or Ellis, and Ferguson left early too

I think Eli is actually underrated now.

He could have a bigger year than people suspect.

I agree 1000000000000%, I almost puked in my mouth with all the love fest going on for NY! We are America's team and yet the story was all about the G-stringers...

I agree with Juke. Also, the market for the Cowboys is nationwide, not just regional, so it would be reasonable to assume there were more Cowboy fans watching last night than Giant fans, so that doesn't explain the slant in the story lines.

How about Madden saying at the end that Coughlin should call Tiki and ask him to come back? After all Tiki has said about Coughlin, does anyone really think that is a possibility? Also, how about Tiki saying "our team" and "we" and "us" in that interview?

I couldn't believe they completely ignored our injuries (4 starters out), while constantly pointing out the Giants issues. The casual fan would have assumed we were running 100% healthy versus the 65% Giants.

Michael Irvin did it for the Cowboys for years, so we have to accept that from Tiki.

I expect it from Tiki, but with Michaels it was slanted toward Eli and the Giants with him even going so far to say how great the division win on the road would be for the Giants with all their injuries...and he said this late in the 3rd quarter while they were trailing by 10 points. That was just plain stupid!!

I have not watched the game on tv, I will sometime today, but al michaels does not hate the cowboys. I dont think al feels any differenty about any team. I never get the feeling he likes any team, like a fan anyway.

He just calls the game, that is what I like about al and john, I always like how they dont seem to favor any team.

Very stupid. I noted that speech as well. He went on and on about how the division standings would be if/when the Giants won.

True the Cowboy market is nationwide and probably had more Cowboy fans watching than Giant Fans, but I would have to believe that the anti-cowboy contingency was probably larger since it was a nationally televised game and had fans from the other NFC east teams watching who hate the cowboys more than anyone else. Plus all the other teams that hate cowboys, i.e. steelers, 49er's packers, Texans, etc.

With that said, I still agree with Juke (see previous thread I started on the same topic).
