Love Diggs - but he has got to tackle better!

This is getting really bad for our run D. The guy is like a bullfighter just kinda swinging at guys as they pass by. It really is a problem for a team that is having problems defending the run to begin with

I was just thinking the same...he has really stepped up his tackling.

NO LIE I WATCHED HIM AT LEAST 5 TIMES RUN AWAY FROM TACKLING against the bears, he doesn't come up and attempt to do it, he's retreating as if the running back is about to pass it each time lol

Exactly - I don't know what these other guys are seeing because you are not seeing him tackling anybody! He avoids taking on any running back head on. He will chase down or side to side but that's it!

What dumb eyes you have, fingers too to make such a comment. His tackling isn't good at all, nobody is saying he's the reason for all the bad plays, but when the ball is coming his way, HE'S RUNNING AWAY FROM IT INSTEAD OF TO IT

He will do it well, when alone on an island and he must do it. But at times, if others are around, he does lack that killer instinct to go get the man down when he has a chance to do so.

He was one of the worse graded run defense players in the league last year and I'm sure he is this year too.

He looks better this year, but I hate how he runs along the side of people instead of going right at them.

Well, there were several plays like that yesterday..that was just the one I was able to find in a highlight video. I played the game, more importantly I played the position. There is help coming from the inside, Diggs has the speed to beat that blocker to the sideline, get square and make a tackle. Nobody ITT is blaming Diggs for the teams run woes as you sensitively pointed out in your first post, it's just highlighting an area where he can be better - I love Diggs.
