Great, so that makes him a good tackler in your book then? Does not matter if he gave up and extra 25-35 in the execution! He was tied for the lead in tackles yesterday

Counseling is available. What does that have to do with Diggs poor play against the run allowing 5-10 yard plays become 15-20?
3rdHe's improved though and he's young. Let's not forget it's like his 4th or 5th year playing defense.
Diggs’ tackling has been significantly better of late. What a dumb thread. Run defense blows and you blame the second best player on the D that plays CB Lolol. Get a clue.

ExactlyHere is an idea. Why not tell the front 7 to do their jobs instead of relying on CBs to make tackles.
No offense to Diggs....but he is right. Tackling ain't a strong suit. He is like a WR that goes down immediately to avoid contact. Diggs is a bit slender.....do any remember a young Kevin Smith for us, same secondary as Prime and Woodson? He was a tackler and "ball hawk" before injury......gave us 9 seasons.Diggs’ tackling has been significantly better of late. What a dumb thread. Oh my.What does that have to do with Diggs poor play against the run allowing 5-10 yard plays become 15-20?
If Diggs starts throwing his body around, he will have a short career. Stop letting every frickin' run play get into the secondary.I understand the OP's criticism...I see it too. He lets himself get blocked out of the way of gang tackles and lets the others guys do the dirty work.
Hes small and his coverage ability are too good to give up because he got hurt in a gang tackle...might as well let the big boys take care of the job is the way I see it.
Its not a perfect take on the situtation...but I really dont want Diggs to go down. If an extra 5 or 10 yards on a play happens to his side a couple of times a game I can live with it.
I bet in red zone or in Playoffs he ups his tackling to a level that we consider decent enough though.
But yeah...Im just going to live with it for now. I see it though.
I can fix stupid, but it's going to hurt.I did not know they had eyesight counseling! Diggs tackling is hurting my eyes - can they fix that?
I meant in college as well
Diggs makes more plays on the ball. (INTs & Passes defended). He's not a linebacker so expect his tackling expectations to be where most CBs are.No offense to Diggs....but he is right. That's why I asked.....Does anyone remember Kevin Smith....all 190 pounds of him?Diggs more plays on the ball. (INTs & Passes defended). He's not a linebacker so expect his tackling expectations to be where most CBs are.
Yes. 5'10" / 190. I remember. Smaller than Diggs, I get it.That's why I asked.....Does anyone remember Kevin Smith....all 190 pounds of him?
Remember a guy named Deion SandersThis is getting really bad for our run D. The guy is like a bullfighter just kinda swinging at guys as they pass by. It really is a problem for a team that is having problems defending the run to begin with
Well look in the mirror and go to work!I can fix stupid, but it's going to hurt.
