See I respect them and they have the best basketball coach ever IMO. However I have a very hard time rooting for them. Ginoboli and his bald spot invented flopping.lol. Timmy with his palms up,"not me" and the french peter pan who is soft as a donut. Still they have been a great team and are run well.
with most people, i will accept this as sarcasm.....with you, i have no clue....i honestly believe that you feel this is true.
flopping has been around forever.....Rodman, Rivers, and Malone are the 3 biggest floppers of all-time.....while Divac is the most recognized flopper of all-time and considered to be the Flopmaster General.
For the Spurs, Manu and Horry were superb floppers, no doubt. One thing though, in the last couple of years, Manu has not flopped all that much. But in his younger days, he was a flopping machine. However, Mavs fans act like their players are innocent. Barrea, Dirk, and Terry flop with great proficiency. Dirk draws more fouls and falls to the ground more with zero contact than any player I have ever seen. I remember one game against the Spurs, he drew 3 fouls and wasn't touched 1 time. He shot 2 fade aways and fell down, the refs called the fouls on Bowen. Replay showed Bowen was at least a foot away both times. The other foul, Dirk ran over Josh Howard's back, fell down, and got to shoot 2 FTs.
Chris Paul is the best flopper in the NBA right now....he has turned it into an artform and brings great theatrics in his performance....The helicopter when Oberto fouled him is an abolute classic.
We all complain about flopping, but to be honest, it works. The NBA fosters such a play and rewards the flopper almost every time. Until the league takes a stance and punishes the flopper for flopping, then it will continue.
