Love injured

considering they have made more progress in the last ten years or so then we have towards winning a SB, the idea that we have a better plan then they do on anything makes me laugh so hard.
How do you quantify that “made more progress” ?

It’s seems overly simple and on its face not really right. Define it for me.

The patellar tendon attaches to the kneecap. I wonder if it ruptured. With any luck it's only an MCL/PCL sprain. He can be back from that in three-six weeks, depending on severity.
Yikes.

it does look bad.

dude was in pain.

Then who do we replace Dak with ?
You draft a young QB next year (preferably in the 2nd or 3rd round) to groom during the next 2-3 years. Jerry recently stated a "price" had been agreed upon between he and Dak when it comes to a annual pay extension average. The problem is the length of the contract. Jerry wants a short extension (2-3 years), hence why he likely plans on drafting a QB next year and giving him 2-3 years to groom before becoming a starter. Meanwhile, Dak wants a longer contract (5-6 years for security and retirement). It's just a matter what years both parties agreed to. This shows Dak is still in the near future plans for the Cowboys...at a minimum.

They pretty much do already.
not in those words, but I hear you. Trey hasn't given anybody a reason to "hate" though that's the difference. Even in that, Dak isn't the guy but I don't hate him, just don't want him to lead us anymore LOL

Just a reminder to this board. Dak has a no trade clause and why would he go to a team without getting a long term deal if he did want a trade. GB is not going to invest a ton of money in Dak and Jordan and do they have 20 million on free salary cap room? It’s always good to think these things through.
Why think things through, when you can just scream out your wish list? Seriously though, I doubt he really thinks what he said in his post is remotely possible.

A lot of the QB injuries happen when a QB is desperate and tries to extend a play. This is week 1, take the L dude. I know it's hard to ask a QB to do that. But don't put yourself in that kind of risk. It's not worth it. Especially in week 1.

It's just a bs opinion. The Cowboys could very well do better than the Packers this season.

From what I saw with Malik Willis when he was in Tennessee, he made Lance look like Lamar Jackson.
I don't think that's possible but if you want to say they're on the same level that's cool but that just shows me that everyone around here thinks that teams have a plan that are better like they all season wouldn't this have been in the GM's mind that they better have a better plan at backup? But everyone around here says that Jerry is the only one who doesn't have the proper depth that he doesn't bring in the right people like he can cover every emergency that can possibly happen...

If so they likely are cooked. That division is a blood bath with Detroit and Chicago being improved.

They won’t win a game with Willis.
For sure not with their top 2 runners out and they let Aaron Jones walk or whatever his name was..
