Loved the "32" Dime package

I hate that it took D-linemen getting hurt before he ran it, but I just loved the 3-2 dime package that Marinelli ran the 2nd half against the Lions. I'm hoping that, even when we get all of those guys back, that he coaches with just as much creativity. They were reminiscent of the great Steelers/Ravens defenses. Just like the Cowboys did tonight, half of the time, those two defenses would have 5,6,7, even 8 players standing at the LOS, daring you to figure out who's coming & who's covering. It creates confusion & doubt along the offensive line, & with the QB as well.

Once we have our best lineup in place, & if we utilize that attacking 3-2 scheme at least half the time, I believe our defense is good enough to win it all. However, It will take the kind of superb play calling we saw tonight by coach Rod to make it happen. Great job tonight, sir.

32 D would get shredded by a solid running team. Fortunately, there aren't too many of those teams headed to the playoffs ... other than us.

32 is definitely a Madden-esque Defense ... where your opponent throws 100% of the time.

Dallas runs it like a monster defense they tend to have 4 safeties in with them dropping or blitIng like lbs. I think they used all year but have been using more of late with less bodies available on the dl

I thought Zenner was going to be a pro bowler all night, but Rod found a way to shut that down and he has done wonders with this defense that most coordinators would give up. Even when the offense has been slacking this defense was stepping up and has most of the season.
