32 D would get shredded by a solid running team. Fortunately, there aren't too many of those teams headed to the playoffs ... other than us.
32 is definitely a Madden-esque Defense ... where your opponent throws 100% of the time.
I don't think you'd necessarily get shredded by the run. Mix into it run blitzes from different sides, & especially up the middle. The point is to get so much penetration, that, whether they run or pass, turnovers are forced, & TFLs created. You couldn't pass OR run vs the '85 Bears. If we can bring in a stud DE, & at least 2 big, press corners in 2017, & in 2018 draft Malik Hooker, FS, Ohio State in the 1st round, we would be able to use a plethora of fronts to confuse opponents, & have the ball hawks waiting on the back side when they make a mistake.
