Why is this possibility not being discussed more?

I've gone from hating this idea to being totally on board in the last 48 hours

Would you be on board with this?

Ultimately yes. I wouldn't hate it.

I think JG is a better HC than lovie.
I think Smith is a better DC than HC
I think Norv is a better OC than HC
I think JG is a better HC than OC

Jason - HC
Lovie - DC
Norv - OC

Best case scenario

Not crazy about Lovie as a HC, just my view.

Because Garrett has hypnotized the Jones boys somehow.

Because it has zero chance of happening.

99 percent of the stuff that gets discussed here has zero chance of happening.

Frustrates the hell out of me.

:D

Sounds like Wade Phillips HC /Jason Garrett OC Ver 2.0. We all know how great that worked out the first time around. How about the Cowboys hire a real GM and assemble a staff from there.

That works for me. :D

I watched alot of Charger games this season and the one the one common denominator I kept coming away with is Norv Turner is god awful. The game has passed him by. Way too conservative, terrible decisionmaking, refuses to utilize his best players. Please don't bring him here.

I've always said I will stick with the Cowboys through thick and thin but bringing Norv here could really force me to test that theory.

I've said the same thing and if JG keeps calling plays it will test my fandom.

SD has annually had an elite scoring offense under turner.

Not norvs fault his team was depleted w talent this season

I'm already pissed about the Rob Ryan thing, Norv could push me over the edge.

The only place they were really depleted was O-line, sound familiar? Plenty of skill position talent on that team.

Lovie is certainly a better choice for HC.

That's the flat out truth.

Norv as OC sounds pretty good.

Bring in a DC from another team and make him the Assistant HC Defense (stupid title loopholes).

You are all set.

Can you even name their wide receivers?

And again, SD has been ELITE in PPG nearly every year.

Ryan Mathews also sucks

So they have no oline- no WRs - and sorry RBs

No, that doesn't sound like what we have here

Hmmm, Lovie's O-line in Chicago was garbage and Jerry seems okay with paying O-linemen to play like garbage.

Yep, I can see this happening.

Danario Alexander and Malcolm Floyd. Both pretty good. DX really came on this year.

And Ryan Mathews does not suck. Kind of hard to get into a rhthym when you are pulled on all 3rd downs, all goaline situations, and in the last two minutes of every game in favor of Ronnie Brown and Jackie freaking Battle.

But by all means if you want to Norv the Cowboys, bring him in here.
