Lovie Smith anyone?

Along the lines of Lovie Smith, if there is Cowboys interest in DCs who occasionally been crappy Head Coaches, good chance Dom Capers is available at the end of the season as well.

Smith coaches the SAME defense. Maybe we are better off with a 3-4. Less linemen. It's better to play the scheme of your talent than vice versa.

Chicago's defense worked last year, and is decent this year as well.

The defense just doesn't have very good players, but I think bringing in Lovie, and maybe even keeping Rod as the DC, with a smart offensive guy is the right move. Not sure who that guy would be, but the lack of creativity on offense is just absolutely frightening.

I would personally love to have Smith here. I actually think he's a really good coach. I know lots wouldn't like him but I'd love to have him here.

Yeah, I was kind of pulling for this during the last offseason. Who knows if it will happen though. Jerry will probably give Zimmer a shot.
