GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Six turnovers, 3 points on offense, and somehow the Chicago Bears are still unbeaten.

Somehow, some way, the Bears rallied from 20 points down at halftime and escaped with a 24-23 victory in Arizona on Monday night, leaving the shellshocked Cardinals to ponder yet another excruciating late-game collapse.

"Sometimes, when you're a team of destiny, things like that happen," Chicago coach Lovie Smith said.

:puke:

Give me a friggin break. Now they're a team of destiny? I'm really starting to not like this team.

If last night proved anything, its that the Bears need to lay off the kool-aid. This sort of arrogance is exactly what caused them to get schooled by Steve Smith and the Panthers last year.

how insightful of you.

Yes, and your original post was just brimming with thoughtfulness and insight, wasnt it?

I dont see what the point is in getting worked up about something a coach said.

I have no problem with that... It would have been nice if we got a few breaks in our 2 losses... I would be happy to use Lovie's line.

One game is not enough to say he showed his true colors. His timing was off on the first couple of deep passes... then he was CLEARLY forcing things...

I would take a Gross QB over a Bleeding QB anyday

Worked up? You seriously think I'm worked up?

Smith made what is pretty much an arrogant remark and I expressed my distaste for the remark.

You don't like what i have to say don't repond. Or better yet, don't click on the link. (you can preview the message by running the mouse over the link)

Back at you, if you dont like what a Coach has to say, dont respond, better yet dont make a post about it. It goes both ways.

No, but judging by your last post, you must have missed the memo somewhere along the line.

You don't like what i have to say don't repond

Its a messageboard, if I dont like what you have to say, I have every right to tell you.

Yea, thats pretty much it. Its all gone right for the Bears before and all come to naught, but this years team is stronger and deeper than the 01 and last years version. Its gotta feel good as a coach to come out with a win when almost nothing goes right for you for over half the game.

whatever. you're the one getting worked up over my griping. Of course you can tell me you don't agree. When you say, however, that you don't see the point in my post, then why even respond? If you feel my post was a waste of time, then feel free to go on your merry way.

yeah and.... the Bears made so many plays in the last 9 minutes last night..... all we needed was one of their plays in each of our losses and we could be using Lovie's line over and over..... and over LOL

And we would still have a big play left over. In one of the many Bears threads of last night I wondered when was the last time the Cowboys have scored 2 defensive TD's and a punt return TD in the same month let alone the same night. No one seemed to have much of an answer.

The Bears a team of destiny:lmao:

The got embarrassed by the freaking Cardinals. Noway they win that game if it was not against Arizona. Every other team in the league (excluding Oakland) would have bagged and tagged the Bears in the 3rd and called it a day.

One of the worst franchises in the history of professional sports chokes away a huge lead and the Bears call this Destiny:confused:

If I was Lovie, instead of telling everybody how great my team is and how we are a team of destiny, I think I would try to figure out what is wrong with my QB sucking against the mighty cards:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

That doesn't exactly happen every day. You talk like we should have done it last week. Plus that would require a bit of research... why don't you look it up since you seem to be so intrigued?

Yeah THAT was something else.... yet... from the jump... I still could see the Cardinals blowing it... LOL

Bottom line: When you jump out in front with scores... THEN... when you stop scoring... the OTHER TEAM get confident... AND... they are behind they take chances and get EXTRA aggressive.... perfect example of that last night
