I've been watching his highlights to really see what is this young man's secret weapon.

He is very adept at keeping his lower body low and fixed all the while speeding up and through folks.

It's almost like his feet are glued to the floor ...however he is gliding at the same time.

Very unique young man we have here.

I'm not so sure I'd call it low center of gravity. I think it's more how his body is always leaning forward just a bit while running. It's one of the best I've ever seen. Nice to watch. Lucky to have him in our team.

Lots of players have had low center of gravity, hard, hard work is the answer to why he so good.

He's worked very hard to become a smart kid, and he's worked very hard to get his body in the shape he's in today.

Low or not, he takes some pretty hard shots to his legs. A lot of hits are square in his quads.

Like Emmitt.. great vision as well.. Emmitt didn't have speed, but he would see the whole before it "opened" and explode through it.

Zeke is faster..

OK, since you obviously never took physics,

It is impossible to have a low center of gravity with Zeke's head.

Having a big head is a prerequisite for being a great running back. For example Emmitt, Demarco, and OJ heads were snug in their helmets lol.

To put it simply, Ezekiel is ideally complete as a RB and has all the credentials to prove it. What more needs to be said?

Agree with this. He's the epitome of a complete back who is also dynamic as a runner. Total game breaker. There are some really really good RBs coming out this year but Zeke is the best to come out since AP IMO.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I remember a conversation before the draft with a poster. I said Zeke is a special back, good enough to draft at #4. He said Zeke wasn't Adrian Peterson special, and that's the only reason to take a back at #4. Special doesn't come in just one package. That's like saying don't take Peyton Manning at #1 because he's not John Elway special.

When I saw Zeke run all over Alabama, then follow that with a 200 yard game against Oregon, I said I hope we can somehow get him.

Little did I know we would suckered bad enough to be in prime position to select him with the 4th overall pick.

Pinch me. ;)

Emmitt was very adept at never taking a solid hit while at the same time avoiding negative plays. That's one of the reasons why his career was so long.

Zeke is a monster, no doubt. But I see Zeke taking too many solid hits. That's going to shorten his career over time if he doesn't do something about it.

Just my two cents.

Love love love Zeke the Freak, but I completely agree Will. I hope he learns to be more ellusive when going heads up on defenders, thus able to better absorb impact. He's a rookie, a phenom rookie, but a rookie nonetheless, it will come with time if he wants it to (i.e. he may just love bruising defenders)

I love to see him hurdle, but he needs to watch that too.
