LOL I remember this board being afraid that college wouldn't offer players that could replace the Brady, Manning, and Rodger's of the NFL.

There are good QBs left and right coming out of college these days. Watered down NFL defenses just helps them adjust even quicker.

Trevor Lawrence is overrated, he wasn't even the best QB in the ACC this year even with the most talented roster.

Howell and Lawrence had virtually identical stats except Lawrence had a higher completion percentage and QB rating. I didn't watch many Clemson games but I assume Lawrence sat out at least several second halfs or 4th quarters due to Clemson blowing teams out. I'd take Lawrence 10/10 times but Howell had a good year.

Has absolutely nothing to do with watered down defenses. It’s all the rule changes that favor the offense. Scoring garners ratings.
