According to the report, Whitehead was busted in Prince William County, VA on June 22 for shoplifting/petit larceny under $200. Sources tell TMZ that Whitehead allegedly took stuff from a convenience store.

Whitehead was been ordered to appear in court on July 6, but he didn’t show up, which led to an arrest warrant being issued. Whitehead has since been charged with failure to appear in court as a result.

Whitehead, 25, signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic back in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his three-year, $1.585 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2017 season.
