Lucky Whitehead

Needs the ball more. Would love to see him open the field up more

Lucky sure showed something last nite, finally. Need him to show something in as a receiver also.
I'm hoping we draft Braxton Miller honestly.

Whitehead has real talent, and is an absolute blazer. Other than his one horrible gaffe- he's showing a great deal of upside. He's better than Harris was as a rookie. One question remains: can he catch the ball?

In some ways he is better than Harris though not sure he can be the cover guy that Harris was on st's but is just as good of a return guy if not better and hopefully develope as a receiver, at this point

I know there's more to the deep ball then speed but I wonder why they don't utilize his speed more. He was one of the unsung heroes last night and i'm just talking about the kick off return or the punt return. This misdirection receiver runs he was running were getting 1st downs every time. If you don't know how to get the ball in Dez's hands okay but you have shown you can do it with Whitehead. I'm assuming going forward his role will increase.

As ugly as that game was last night, I just remember seeing Whitehead over and over again handling business. He was giving the skins major fits..lol

Honestly I was holding my breath thinking he might fumble. But then again, I did the same thing when we had Dwayne Harris.

This guy is going to be a BALLER! Wow. He is really settling in nicely. Let's not give him away to the Gnats like the last one. Ok?

Harris got $17 million. Consensus was he'd be missed but that was too steep. Don't know if that's changed at this point.

Oh and he was absolutely hated on by some here despite looking like he had a speed, wiggle combo that no one else on the roster had sans Dunbar.

Good post.

We needed a spark from our WR and we got one from all of them. I'm not ready to give up on Street but two fumbles on key third downs over a season is a terminable offense to some.

If we use that jet sweep with Lucky like the Seahawks building pass plays and run counters to keep defenses honest then sign me up. I've seen them break teams with that type of action.

Ultimately you want him to try to add muscle and strength so have him run at the poa too. If he's in the slot there are players like BW Webb in the league that he can try to blow up if nothing else.

Making plays all game long including the kickoff return to set up the game winning field goal leaves quite the impression. On the road? If you're looking for rookies to bite, this one locked on and tore a hand off.
