those high ankle sprains can take months to heal. I would rest him then see how he is by that 3rd or 4th preseason game. Dude is a playmaker. WE NEED HIM. If healthy...does he make Sean Lee expendable down the road?

While it’s good news, he likely is out for the remainder of the preseason which means there is little chance they keep him on the 53. He will clear waivers and go to the PS. The other option is to put him on IR to keep him.
