Lunchbreak says there are some concerns with Dez Bryant

What players did he go off on?

The only name mentioned was Gurode...no details were given...

I listened to it all and to be quite frank, I came away more excited. Are there issues? Probably...nothing that won't be solved w experience. However, as Many of us already thought, he has the leadership traits ala Irvin...that is what this team is in dire need of. Some fire.

One of the guys mention Gurode but I don't know if he was using him as an example. I provided the link in my original post.

Irvin was also known to go off on players, I love it !
So did Terrell Owens, but he wasn't as popular.

I'd be pissed to if I was the only one playing 100%..

With that said, tardiness could be an issue (but an easily corrected one).
Playbooks are hard on rookie recievers (not very often one gets it down on the rookie year).

No real worries here, and for one I'm glad he's a vocal player (maybe leader!)

Only because TO would start up with personal attacks. Garcia was Gay things like that do not help your cause.

actually I think he said Garcia was "ghey"

Jon Kitna got him the ball. That is no disrespect to Romo who has thrown him the ball.

I can't wait for the next coach to make that "playbook" obsolete.

Bryant is the best WR on the team and one of the team's best players. Period.

The next head coach will build the passing attack around his YAC skills.

Someone needs to show some passion on that team, because the two androids coaching this team sure don't show any.

I wish I could have seen him going off on those players. He's one of the only guys showing some fire on the football field and he scored 3 tds last game. Dez thought he fell to a superbowl contender and could make an immediate impact to help get them there. Instead he ended up with a bunch of buffoons who don't deserve to have him as a teammate.

3 TDs in a game and he doesn't know everything that's going on...and is a rookie- wow. He's a keeper in my book.

Went off on some players. Great- Dez make a list of losers on the team and give it to the new coach. You have our support.

Speak for yourself.

I support character. Period.

Undisciplined, uncoachable talent sucks.

Irvin was a team leader. Dez isn't.

The difference is a grand canyon.

If he went off on anyone on this oline, my respect for him just grew even more.

I think some guys are good about coming off as positive towards teammates motivating and encouraging and others tend to cause problems in how they are come off towards others on the team.

I'm pretty sure he was speaking for himself, but please, continue on your moral crusade.

TO went off about not getting the ball, calling players names and pointing blame. The two aren't comparable.

as a quick aside, this thread would have gotten WAY more responses by now if the title was "Dez Bryant goes off on teammates"... don't you know anything about writing headlines? :)

Exactly, you don't want or need me vs the team. Mike would go off on the sidelines but he was not attacking guys only trying to encourage them.

Well the "undisciplined, uncoachable, talented guy" is the one producing. I'll take him over the guys with character who have made our team a joke.

The Lunch Break did say the reason some of the vets objected to his going off was that they pointed out he didn't even practice all week.

Now if he's ducking practice, that's understandable. Can't call people out if you aren't going to put in the work. If his ankle is so bad that he truly can't get well until Sunday, then he should have more credibility. We really don't know exactly which it is.

Not questioning what you are saying because that it what the lunch break said. However, the entire segment was hearsay.

Because this has been happening all season not just recently. Not defending him but the timing of this is weird to me. If the guy has been doing this, why has this come out before. In other words we all are feeling great about what he did in the last game. Why release this information when he is the only thing right now that Cowboy fan base is excited about.

Imagine when Espn gets a hold to this.

Okay, why not come out with it? Unless you're suggesting they should be protecting him, or that the whole Lunch Break crew has an agenda against Dez Bryant?

Beyond that, Nick Eatman said he just found out about some of the stuff recently.
