Luuuuuuuuuuepke!

Realism is not negative . Sean McVey Shanahan Siriani Taylor in Cincy Andy Reid are not drawing up FB off guard plays . Not happening

3 yards and a cloud of dust . Maxwell Smart an old football gawd used to say “ missed it by that much “ .

Now if you tell me the RB room will keep fresh legs going between Pollard Deuce and Dowdle all running down hill all can catch the ball as well then I applaud that thinking .

I think some are assuming since Luepke is being called a fullback, he's that old school lumbering back who had 5 carries and 6 catches in his career in college.
He ended his career at NDSU with 1665 rush yards on 274 carries, 6.0 YPC, 24 rushing TDs while catching 38 passes for 494 yards and 9 TDs. While those numbers don't guarantee he'll do anything in the pros, it's some type of evidence that he can actually run with the ball.

He lined up plenty of times at H-back in college and in the 3rd preseason game. Did people watch the game or his clips from NDSU?
He's more of a bigger RB than a "fullback". I'm not saying he's going to be part of the rotation, but I think if he does anything for this team it'll be more as a RB than inline blocker.

Short yardage is the problem . No one is stuffing FB’s into the line of scrimmage wanting to get anywhere . Heck use a blocking TE to clear brush for Pollard Deuce or Dowdle and instead of dreams of “ short yardage “ you may break one off . What a concept . If this man is featured in the current offense then Elliott should have been kept around .

So much “ excitement “ over “ short yardage “ out of North Dakota st . Oh boy
Sooooo, hardnosed team players are not valuable?

Micah Parsons “hard nosed “ yes. By his very size that he competes at this level Deuce Vaughn is “ hard nosed “ . The Pack had a back when MM was there named Eddie Lacey . Dude went between 250-260 LBS dragged defenders downfield . I see no evidence in this current ND St version . We shall see . A difference of opinion is what makes a forum .

The youth and excitement that comes from rookies will be on full display this year.

Duece and Luepke (Pollard is just 26) will more than fill the void of Zeke.

Watching them this year will be must see tv.
CeeDee only 24 a young lion in Parsons and Diggs going to be a lot of fun

I like what Luepke brings to the table. And if folks don’t think MM will use him.. all you have to do is look at how he used John Kuhn in GreenBay for years.

I’m not saying he’s going to blow your socks off with his play, yet he will be effective and productive when called upon.

One thing I’ve noticed ab Luepke is.. although he’s a bigger guy, he seems to have good vision and runs smooth, unlike a typically clunky FB. He has a chance to make team respect FBs again.

248lb’s of running back. His worth will show itself in 2nd half of games. Just one more layer of the onion MM has to play with. Can’t wait to see Pollard, Duece and Luepke create havoc.
..sure hope so. I'll admit the guy is interesting.

awful fired up for a guy just because he's bigger. not knocking the kid, i do think there is a role for him .... just not sure all the hyperbole is justified yet
Here’s proof that when someone tries to make a positive thread, the haters like this one just has to crap on it.

248 Lbs of 2 yards of LB wrestling him to the ground . Funny I don’t recall the Chiefs Bengals Rams Eagles heck Lions counting on clouds of dust to inch forward with the chains . It’s more like how much real estate can be taken in CHUNKS .

I thought Elliott was dispatched out of town because defenders were draped over him coming out of the huddle practically.

:D
Did you watch the Eagles on short yardage last year even once and how important always knowing they could convert it almost at will was to their offense? Or are you thinking just because he made the initial 53 that means Luepke is going to be an every down player

No matter what the Cowboys say or do, there will always be those that spin EVERYTHING negative!
Funny because I was about to say that the comments have been incredibly optimistic about a player that surprised a lot of people by making the 53…….but I trust the coaching staff to know their stuff

Can he block in Dallas we dont care if our RB's can make plays to get points and yards CAN HE BLOCK!!!!!
