To be fair, we mainly just watch Parsons. That's typically where the action is.
Yes and a lot of NO ACTION happens doing this, all I see at times is #11 speeding up the field as the QB or RB goes right by him up the middle

Stats don't lie, look at the rank in the Conference, and in the league. If Micah is garnering double teams, why wouldn't our LB be racking up tackles?

BECAUSE THEY RUN INTO EACH OTHER, they rush too wide, opposing QBs see this and step right up in the pocket and they're gone!!!

Their thinking is he’s going to free someone else up. I think I agree with you. If they send an extra body I’d rather send a DB off the slot.
You're missing the point.

They want to declare the edge player as a rusher so the OT has to block him. That allows them to create matchups elsewhere in a 5-man pressure. A DB off the slot is designed to beat the OT's recognition, or it accomplishes the same exact thing but instead you've put LVE in coverage instead of a DB.

If I'm so pretty, why am I available?

Reminds me of Sean Lee rushing the passer.

You're making this up. We rarely got gashed up the middle last game.

Some may recall that LVE's exit due to injury last year coincided with the defense tanking. What he lacks in athleticism in 2023 may be compensated (at least in part) by his football IQ. Isn't he responsible for the defensive calls on the field?

Seems to me he's always been most effective hanging back a bit...in coverage, or to assist the D-line against the run.

I don't know what this means.

Correct, most of the time, quarterbacks don't get sacked. See: The NFL. The Cowboys lead the league in sacks, and you're acting like QBs are running around Mike Vick and making plays all over the field.

How do you feel this is working out for us, I don't see any real pressure taking place or plays being made. I don't think he has the right athletic ability to be rushing the passer, please give your thoughts I may be wrong. DQ is way smarter than me
I feel Vander trash shouldn't even be on the team

He's not a smart player. He's way too slow to diagnose .

Every team has an LBer who can make line calls, it's not really that difficult. All you have to do is basically count to 4 lol
