LVE as a Pass Rusher

LVE is not a legit MLB. He is not quick enough to diagnose, cannot stack and shed, nor strong enough to disengage from linemen.

He is more of a Will type player, that doesn't have the legit speed and quickness to play Will. So while he does his best, and rushing the passer should be something he does a couple times a game. He is definitely in a position to be upgraded.

IMO, Micah should play more MLB, while not excluding him from rushing from any position.

With Micah playing DE, defenses should now run right at Micah and get a 330lb lineman hands on him asap. Give up 50+lbs and eventually it will wear him out. A tackle can move him and a TE or G can move LVE, so why wouldn't the opposing OC do this often.??

He’s a solid player.

He’s tall enough and strong enough to push from a stand up DE.

I’d like to see more A gap blitzes though.

I've said this many times. The generational linebacker can't play MLB when we struggle to stop the run? He can easily rush on 3rd downs. I was never impressed with his linebacker play but in year 3 and him knowing the system I don't get why he isn't playing there on first 2 downs

So sick and tired of seeing lve get washed out every single play. He can’t block shed nor is he fast.

I was laughing my *** off watching him chase running backs tails with his arms flailing out like a zombie 5.5 40 speed
