My goodness, this fit is too perfect.......Foyesade Oluokun

  • 192, yes 192 total tackles last season
  • drafted by Quinn
  • He and Zeke were high school teammates
  • $7-8M projected value per PFF
  • only 26

2022 free agents: LB Foyesade Oluokun could reunite with some old faces in Dallas
Connect the dots and LB Foyesade Oluokun could be one of Dallas’ free agent targets.

Sounds great and all, and I want Jerry to pronounce his name when drunk. That being said, 7-8mil is probably in USD and I think Stephen would have a stroke giving all that money to an outsider FA when he can overpay his own.

If you remember he caused multiple fumbles in that game 2 years ago. He is undersized, but a very underrated player.

IF the projected numbers are close, I think he's more of a possibility than Wagner. Something getting overlooked a bit, Quinn hasn't brought in any of his former Seahawk players. Some of us thought he would bring in Richard Sherman, K J Wright, and a few even mention Earl Thomas.

Can't imagine Quinn not being on the table for this guy, especially if PFF numbers are close.

There should be several capable replacements if Lve does depart. Keep in mind, the likes of Cox/Kearse as a big nickel are good cover players, what they need is another Mike type linebacker who is good against the run.
I was curios who is on the list on what their projected APY would be.

I am confident that they with either resign Lve or another fa starter at the position. They will not head into the draft needing an immediate starter. Certaintly could draft a future starter and improve their depth, but they will cover themselves. You would think, he and Wagner will have Quinn pushing the team to sign.

Neal was signed for 5 million for the season, you would think they would go in a similar range. I see another short-team contract in hopes of Cox and or a rookie taking over in the near future as a starter.

1000% ....I don't expect much during the first wave unless they're targeting a got-to-have player they don't wanna take a chance of missing. Otherwise, as you said, we can expect free agent signing at TE, LBer, LG or T (flex) and maybe DE before the draft.

I certainly like the idea.

Yes, they always try to cover themselves so they can so called take the best player available.
