Mach 3...Sharp as a Razor

Because 3/4 of it may be new.

If not new, who?

Scandrick, Church, McCann, and Jenkins.

You're good with that?

Again, I'm fine with taking a CB at #9.

I even said I'm fine with your mock because it does address the offensive line.

I'm simply surprised you'd say secondary is a bigger concern, I mean cliches are cliche for a reason.

Man this mock is probably the best I've seen.. to me Peterson makes or breaks this draft. He'd shore up our secondary for years to come. Then we spend the rest of the draft on O-line. I doubt Devine will be there near that late though, he seems like a 3rd or 4th rounder.

I to def think the secondary is a muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch bigger issue then the line. I could live with Colombo for another year. It pains me to say it, but I could. I COULD NOT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES live with Ball back there for another year. No way. Plus there are more question marks surrounding Newman, Jenkins, and Sensy then Kosier, Colombo and Davis.

It is a bigger concern to me by far. 436 points surrendered. 3/4 of the starters may be gone. The Offense produced with a backup QB at the helm and a 3rd stringer to close the season, the Defense didn't with 10 of 11 starters for almost the entire season.

I truly hope their is a way to get Huff (or someone comparable) to play FS next season.

Like I said, the numbers game is an easy trap to fall into. I don't argue numbers because they never tell the whole story.

I have, however, seen for several years now a completely different story on the field. I saw a line that couldn't run block to save their lives, couldn't get any push in short yardage situations, has gone to the pro bowls on the back of Romo's escapability in the pocket, forced Garrett to turn to short passes and dump offs because he didn't trust them to buy time for downfield passes and so on.

Huff and Peterson/Amukamara addresses the majority of our secondary issues, in theory. That still doesn't make the secondary a bigger concern than the trenches in my book.

The trench guys make everyone look better, so if the secondary looks this bad with guys you can "live with", just imagine if the trench guys were even worse.

I'll agree to disagree. The most points surrendered in team History is alarming to me.

Piits
Scored 375 points (23.4/g), 12th of 32 in the NFL.
Allowed 232 points (14.5/g), 1st

With a lousy CB’s IMO William Gay and Ike Taylor

You have go to D line an Lber as there best position

Dallas

Scored 394 points (24.6/g), 7th of 32 in the NFL.
Allowed 436 points (27.2/g), 31st.

Well you can’t pin that all on CB’s an S’s
The whole D had a off year

GB

I realize I just did this last night, but now we have updated numbers and comp picks.

I am still trading up to #6 and giving up #71 to get there.

72. Joseph Barksdale, OT, LSU, 6'5", 325. This is a guy who is technically sound and really just needs to be a little more physical to be great. He'll get a chance to do that.

I appreciate your comments. Personally, I really like this mock.

I like the picks except for Barksdale, an underachiever, lacks attitude sometimes. Reminds me of a George Hegamin or Solomon Page.
