Machota maps out our offseason

Scrap all of it

The gm is reactive instead of proactive

He waits until 8 games into a season to address what any fan with little to no football knowlegde could see was an issue in early march

And its also a show, there WILL be a mandatory drawn out contract dispute be it Aubrey or Pickens

And if its Aubrey the next kicker will have to go 4 out of his first 25 for Jerry to take anything serious

If its Pickens and im sure it will be then we’ll just find any person to be wideout and let them drop balls all season

If Pickens didn't disappear like he did, you could of franchised him to trade him for something.

I doubt they go super cheap at LB again this offseason after how bad Murray/Sanborn panned out. You also don't know what Overshown is.

This is exactly what I’ve been predicting. People keep believing that we have money to spend now because of Micah and some restructuring seem to keep forgetting who is running the show.

The same joker that had $25m sitting there all season.

Look at the free agents we could have signed.

And we didn’t. Jerry just kept that money in the bank.

Where's the hate for him?? If skip said or someone else everyone would be saying oh I hate him lol

Hate to say it but he's probably right.
Actually his forecast for the offseason might be a little bit optimistic.

I'll be surprised if we don't draft some injured player in the second round.

Don’t have a 2nd round pick . Q Williams is his name

What's the point in saving money not signing Micah if you aren't going to spend the money anyways? This is just being cheap to be cheap and it sucks.
Here is a fun stat for you: Micah Parsons next year has a lower cap hit (19.2m) then BOTH Quinnen Williams (21.75m) and Kenny Clark (21.5m). So they didn't really save any money or at the very least they already spent whatever money they did save on those two.

Just listened, I think he's absolutely spot on.

On Pickens.. I started the season after the Micah debacle, thinking we should trade him for whatever. The season was a punt. But as the season went on, I was like ok let's resign him.

Now I'm starting to think re-signing him will be a bad idea. He's got some question marks with effort/attitude that I suspect will not age well. Further, this defense needs a lot of work/resources.

Lastly, Dak doesn't lean into these number 1 receivers enough to justify 2 of them at top of the league prices.

Id agree usually but he's wrong this time. I feel the Jones boys will be fairly aggressive.
