KC realize the QB is the problem more than the WRs right? Just look at Smith's past resume. Even as a 49er he throws predominately to his TE and RBs.

His TE's and RB's have almost always been better options than his WR's...even as receiving threats. Vernon Davis/Gore > Crabtree and a bunch of castoffs. Charles/Kelsey > Bowe and the castoffs of castoffs.

Dez should fall right in between these Nelson/Cobb/Maclin deals at 10-11 mil, and the CJ monster deal 16 mi per. The free market says he's a 12-13 mil per receiver.

I think the issue with the Dez deal is length and guaranteed money. I think the Cowboys want a "lifetime Cowboy" deal that allows them to move the signing bonus on down the line until the very end. I don't think Dez is down for that. I know you would think it would make a difference if its guaranteed, but it does.
