so we had a couple of people out there put several different ratings for players for madden 07, does anyone have the game and can post the REAL ratings for the cowboys?

Ive heard the PS2 and Xbox versions are just Madden 06 with a new cover and semi-updated rosters. True or false?

i got it last nite at midnite, we played all nite.... it doesnt have all the rooks.... no watkins, no hurd or rector.... plays real smooth and plush... we had 44 360s at my house, round robin tourney..... who ever gets it will love our offense....

Overall team rating is a 90 or 91 IIRC. I played about a half at Best Buy today

It was a short test drive, but it played a lot like the 360 version from last year. I didn't check out all the bells and whistles, so I can't make a comparison there, but it was a little disappointing on my first impression. 06 on the 360 was so bad, the similarities left a bad taste in my mouth. I look forward to trying it out more long term though.

Also, Greg Ellis is still listed as a DE... I didn't check to see what his rating would be if/when you move him to OLB. Probably not good. The starters in the LB are Ware, James, Ayodele, and Carp. KD starts at FS, with Pile backing him up.

So far I really like it. Bush just scored on me. VJ missed two FG' and Romo just threw and INT. otherwise I like.

dallas is a strong team on it. it's pretty hard to miss w/ vandy kicking. owens and glenn are beasts and even crayton makes some tough catches.

barber is almost a better back than JJ. (i can hear the sarcastic remarks from here...)

defense is STOUT.

Vandy doesn' have that strong of a leg. Not sure but somwhere in the 40 something yard range and he missed twice.

Nice to have all those weapons on offense that the Cowboys have. Please let our oline do well this year cause I think it' going to be real hard for teams to stop the Boys O in Madden and real life.
