Doh! That stinks. I can never play that game except on long angle. Don't know how folks play not being able to see their receivers.
This is probably my last year to play Madden. This game just pisses me off.
They have the Cowboys ratings all wrong. They didn't give our defense nearly as much credit as it deserves and overrated most of the offensive line. Newman once again gets screwed and don't remember, but I think he may only be the 3rd highest rated corner on our team. No Pat Watkins, no Ratliff, no Hurd, no Rector, they left so many players out! I thought when EA got the NFL license they were supposed to have access to the team's clubhouses and scouts, and have more accurate rosters. So much for that.
And then I play online and dudes scramble their QB 30 yards back and other wierd stuff. I haven't played many 3-4 teams until the Cowboys, and it looks like the game has the linemen play the exact same way as a 4-man line. (But I admit, it's hard to tell, because it goes so fast and I'm paying attention to everything else.)
I buy this game every year because I'm excited about the football season, but it's inaccuracy ends up pissing me off and I set it down and never play it again.

Can you not pick up updated rosters on Live?? I'm pretty sure that feature is available, or it was with the last one. If you can't yet, wait until the 53 man deadline passes. I bet you'll get all updated rosters... Now as for the ratings, I doubt that will change. Newman is young though, you have plenty of time to make him good.
