I never thought I'd like the NCAA game but once I started playing it I got in to it big time. I like the recruiting part almost as much as playing the games.

Wow, I can't stand what Madden has become, but it's a bajillion times better than NCAA.

Last year was the first time that Madden had been better than NCAA since about 2005. The first several years of Madden on the nextgen consoles were AWFUL. Madden 2007 and 2008 were two of the worst games ever made. NCAA from 2006-2011 put out some fantastic games.

People do nothing but complain about it every year. I can't figure out why people still buy it if it sucks that bad.

I haven't bought Madden in about 6-7 years. Every year I wait till after it's been out a couple of months so I can read the reviews/opinions and I read the same complaints every year.

I had a lot more fun playing NCAA the last few years than I ever did playing Madden.

I'm not gonna lie i am one of those people who keep buying madden year inn and year out and keep complaining about it never changing. This looks the same as the last 4, it will probably play the same and i'll still buy it cause there's really no other option if you like football videogames even though my Madden interest is at an all time low

I am guessing that you mean "what the heck is wrong with the Madden play dynamics!!(partly AI)!!"

This is pretty freakin awful in 12, I played a game yesterday and literally, LITERALLY the CB ran a route ahead, AHEAD of my AI WR, he never tailed the WR he just took off ran a route and just as my WR caught up to him the CB intercepted it. I wll say there is a lot of superfluous complaining about Madden, but there are some bad bad sloppiness in creating the game. Supposedly they fixed the "psychic CB" issue in this new version, problem is it tends to ease into or out-right create more bugs and wonky things in its place.

I remember Bryan McCann doing this to the Giants at the goal line. The better question is what's wrong with the HI? Didn't the QB see the CB jumping the route? :

I saw the CB and I thought, if I throw it to my WR I can hit him since he is wide open(behind the CB mind you). The QB did a set up,winding and slow throwing thing,which is another irritant, then combine with the throws it way way ahead sometimes allowing a S or whatever to stand there and intercept. Well it didn't work, I guess I learned.

And it wasn't a matter of jumping a route, the CB led from the start(major separation 2-3 yards or so) and my WR followed as a sort of reverse role thing.

Probably because you enjoy the extensiveness of the NFL License vs the NCAA license.

Other than that, NCAA is and has been a better game for some time now.

It is unpredictable, but yeah it was very messed up to begin with.

Their is a Monopoly on NFL football games due to the NFL Licensing so no real competition anymore which means crappy product with no other real options anymore.

It's not a "crappy" product, but I'm as anti the exclusive license as anyone else. More than anything, I miss the competition in terms of pricing, which is the primary reason EA bought the license. They don't want to have to sell Madden at 45 bucks a pop.

I use to buy it and play it all the way back to madden on the Sega Genesis have not bought a copy since 2008. Once the competition went away the game did not improve.

I started playing it on the PC, which was sooo much better than the consoles. I kept playing it because I like creating my own Cowboys team in franchise. I only got it last time because of the huge improvements to the franchise, I like the playbook edit and all the new drafting stuff.

I did not buy 11 and if I decide to get another one it would be 14, not sure still if I honestly will buy another one.

I play every game of the upcoming season online with a friend of mine. He made a spreadsheat that tracks the stats, records, mvp of each game (selected by us) and even injuries! It's pretty crazy.

However, this year I noticed that one of the new features is the ability to do an only franchise with 32 owners......have a draft, trades, contracts, etc. I think this is an amazing upgrade and would love to find 30 other dedicated players to do a full league.

I don't see a radical difference in the game play and except for the announcers and some aesthetics nothing different enough to make me buy it.

I haven't bought a Madden game since 09(I think it was 09, it was the one with Fitzgerald on the cover). It's pretty disappointing that EA continues to just churn out what is basically a roster update with no real changes to their lackluster franchise mode and choppy/unrealistic gameplay. I would love for them to implement physics more into their gameplay animations, but it feels like I've been saying that for years.

So, yea... I've been off the Madden bandwagon for a while now and after looking at some of the gameplay footage from E3 it doesn't look like I'll be hoping back on anytime soon. *shrugs*
