Two More Madden Cover Candidates Revealed

You won't believe one of them.

US, April 14, 2009 - As part of its gradual unveil of the nine candidates for the Madden NFL 10 cover, EA Sports revealed two more nominees yesterday.

Matt Cassel has astonishingly made his way onto the elite list of nine athletes despite being traded to the Kansas City Chiefs after leading the Patriots to an 11-5 season last year and being the butt of oh-so-many jokes in the process. The other cover candidate is DeMarcus Ware which, to me, makes much more sense.

Check the official Madden site every Monday at 3 PM PST leading up to the official reveal on April 24 for additional cover candidate reveals.

"America's Team" didn't make the playoffs last year, but don't blame DeMarcus Ware. The runner-up Defensive Player of the Year led the NFL in sacks with 20, 2.5 more than anyone else. The man from Troy has improved his tackles and sack totals every year since coming into the NFL in 2005, and Ware is one of the few LBs who can rush the passer, stop the run, and drop back into coverage- now that's Fighting For Every Yard. I don't know about you, but after the "TO-MO" break-up, I'm thinking the Cowboys can right the ship in 2009, and DWare might not have to settle for DPOY runner-up this time. Oh, and someone call Michael Strahan and tell him to enjoy his single season sack record while he still has it. "How bout this Cowboy" for the Madden NFL 10 cover?

That's cool with me. Dallas was cursed last season, maybe next year they will be better.

Harrison and Ware will have targets on thier backs this coming season. All the linemen will do everything in their power to make them work even harder this season and they will come up short on the sack record.

I believe they will cause the QB's to hurry throws.
