I still play with a dinosaur PS2. Every year that I get the new Madden, I never get to see all of the little things that they change up each year. The graphics have topped out for PS2 owners like me. Nothing has changed since the 2008 Madden.

Sigh! I know... I know... But the wife thinks it's a waste of money for me to have an X-BOX 360 and that I'm too old to still be playing games. I would love one. I would really love a PS3 though.

Alas, I guess I'm destined to keep this PS2 until I can bribe her into letting me get one.

The d-pad thing kindof kills it for me. They said they will make a patch to make it an option but that wont happen till the first game.

I'll pass. The last three Madden's I bought lasted about two weeks, then gathered dust.

Fight for it!! Some things are worth the trouble and a "now-generation" gaming system certainly applies! Put your foot down and let the wife know who wears the pants in the household!!!


But don't call me when she makes you sleep on the couch...but, hey, at least you'll have a PS3 or 360 to play while you're out there!!!

I'm not particularly happy to get in franchise mode and have it be exactly the same as it's been for the last 3 years, but am excited to play against some friends online I guess.

90% of my Madden time is spent on franchise mode though, so I'm not particularly pleased with this years game.

I didn't pay 65 bucks so I could sub Dez in.
