The post play celebrations and sb celebrations look great but the IN GAME graphics look identical.

Development time for games these days are about 2-3 years, EA are putting these out every year so they can't just build the game from ground up every year and a lot of stuff will look the same. I think they made the right choice in focusing on gameplay this year the list of gameplay improvements as well as online dynasty and better presentation is more then enough to give them a pass for not doing much with the visuals IMO

I mean I know things in life have exclusivity sometimes, but to do this to an NFL game that comes out once a year and completely cut off competition..
I mean...
Coke - Pepsi
Ford - Chevy
DirecTV - Dish network
Tap Water - Bottled Water
NBA 2kX - NBA LIVE
Madden - ??????
Madden can do whatever they want, however they want.

Those aren't licensing issues. It's up to the NFL. Just like ABC can't show NFL games anymore, since they lost Monday Night Football.fannypack;2839034 said:I think it's absolute BS that a game development studio is allowed to obtain an exclusive license.

No one's taking your freedom of choice. You can buy it and support the NFL's decision, or not. If enough people stop buying it, then the NFL will assume the product isn't good enough. Then they will license to other companies.fannypack;2839107 said:I'm just emphasizing the freedom of choice, no matter how trivial that choice may seem.

You still have a choice.fannypack;2839278 said:That's not going to happen. People will buy Madden a lot of times due to the name alone. It has gotten by for years and years on its name, but throughout most of those years there was always some form of competition. Gameday , 2k etc.
Now, there is no alternative that has authentic football. If I quit buying the game it's one drop in the bucket out of about another handful of people who would stop.
Forgoing on a football game year after year in the hopes that they won't hold the license deprives me of the chance to play ANY football game. Again I'm emphasizing the freedom of choice, the choice between no football game and Madden isn't a choice most football fanatics want to make.
