Mafah vs Liufau

If he's already rated the 15th best in the country, I'm somewhat amazed to hear this at that early stage of his career. He's just a neophyte at this juncture. Evidently, he's the power back that might prove a very useful guy to have around for an offense that's designed to run with authority. Stay tuned.

The utter disrespect he's getting is absurd at best. He is going to make the 53 and play.
The fact that he was a late-round pick has some folks thinking he's likely an over-rated RB. At 234 lbs. and tough as nails, he's likely to surprise some unsuspecting opposition. I'm looking forward to seeing how he fares in TC and the preseason games, assuming he'll see action. I'm really trying to curb my excitement at this point in time. TC might afford some meaningful clues as to his future exploits.

Agreed

the guy has talent; that is clear. Using him correctly is the key
Agreed. The narrative I been seeing on many platforms is he doesn't have the juice to make house calls. It's patently false. Same was said about Emmitt. Completely different backs, but you get the idea. He reminds me alot of a guy named George Rogers. The South Carolina RB way back in the early 1980s. He was a big RB with deceptive long speed. Was never going to be quick footed in the hole or make dbs miss, but could make linebackers miss.

Mafah can do some interesting things when he has enough time to get up to speed.

I think his success in Dallas relies heavily on how good the OL is. He needs a hole to get through and get up to speed. Then he’s hard to bring down and can potentially wear out defenses.
Exactly. He's a system RB that is expert at using his blockers in front of him to his advantage. He's very smart, patient runner. High FB IQ. He's not a one trick pony. I think he can help us close out games and be our goal line guy. Then from time to time he can pop a run for 20 plus.

Our running attack will be named "The Blue MafIah".

Our O line will be "The New Great Wall" or something like that.

Fans will be going nuts after not having much of a running game for several years.
