Mailbag: Could Schoonmaker challenge for TE1?

The head coach and TE coach aren’t new. Outside of completely ******** the bed in camp (won’t happen) there’s not going to be any inclination to break up the repoire and timing he has with Dak!
Schoon’s strength he was drafted on is blocking, BFord isn’t a threat as a receiver.
There’s no one on the roster capable of straight beating Ferguson in a competition for the receiving TE!

Actually the head coach is brand new first time head coach I don't care if he was here last year or not he made zero decisions he was basically a nobody he was a ghost he's going to want to make the front office feel smart for making this move and he's going to make sure he's not throwing himself under the bus by just allowing guys to fall into jobs I hate to break it to you that's the truth.. The tight end coach has no decision in anything by the way bs is going to make sure he puts the best players that haven't already earned a spot and he is one of them

Ferguson will be challenged ,he's under a lot of pressure right now, this is a prove it year for him this is why sometimes you'll collapse under pressure and somebody can sneak up and take your job and this year it's wide open in my opinion even though I agree he may end up with the job again that doesn't make it 100 percent fact I think he's going to be pushed and pushed hard.....

If you think for a minute bs is going to stand pat and do everything the same way Mike McCarthy did you haven't been listening this isn't a good old boys club the regulars who have not already cemented their spots are going to have to fight hard for them...

I say it's a lot closer than you think and again I agree ferguson might end up with the job but he's not getting it for free he will have to earn every inch of it and the next two months...
