I think Bell will be a guy I will look at on defense to see if he can make the team. A pet cat.
The answers on this question, they seem to think he will make the team from my take.

We been in need of some great S play that has been lacking since Darren Woodson.
Quinn seems to have that going in the right direction.

I still have high hopes Malik Hooker will get back close to his high expectations as well.

Seems like they have used more resources at safety the last couple years than this front office typically likes to do. Haven't hit a home run yet but it's better than their standard do nothing at the position.

I don't want to say likely yet, but I think he has a very good chance to make the roster. He got 200k guaranteed on his deal

I like him and think he can stick but I’m honestly not worried about S at all. We aren’t elite but we are solid with a real chance to be good there.

If Hooker keeps getting back to the player he was like we saw towards the end of last season, Kearse stays consistent, and Donovan stays healthy then we can be a very good collective S unit.

The D should be top 10 again. Maybe not as many turnovers as last year— but they have the personnel to be a decent modern NFL unit.

The season will always come back to the offense: can we run the ball? Protect the QB? Play consistent, disciplined, effective fundamentally sound football? Execute in the red zone?

Those are where the bigger questions and issues lie. Bell seems like a solid prospect as a rookie.

It would be cool for some of these diamond in the rough players to be contributors.

The kid is a baller. I think he has immediate potential to be a special teams star with medium-long term potential to be a good ball hawk S for us. I would actually be surprised if he doesn't make the team based on the initial reports I've been reading coming out of OTAs.

I truly think this defense has top-5 upside. The pass rush should be fierce again with Tank, Micah, Fowler, Dorance, and Osa. I imagine the secondary play should be the same or better as last year considering we retained nearly everyone and that unit has got some nice depth. Line backer is a bit more of a wild card but I like Parsons, LVE, and Cox as a starting unit with the kid from OK State having all the tools to turn into a nice player. My #1 question is can we get an interior DT to step up and play at least average football in the run stop department. If Gallimore can step up and stay healthy this defense could be really good.

His priority should be to make the roster and then we can talk about what he can contribute. Make the active/gameday roster.

Don't forget De Williams!

He's one injury away from being an every down starter. I hope he can play.

We got a DT in the draft. Looks like he maybe able to step in and take a few snaps. Ridgeway is my pet cat. But hoping the 2 O-Line we got can step in. Was surprised we didn’t get more O-Line in higher rounds..
