Some few articles on the mothership site. Will post them all here as opposed to separate threads.

We know Alacron's move to DT. This gives some more explanation. As he has no more eligibility for a PS roster exemption.

This is about Nashon Wright, and his possible position and play, even suggest he may get time a S.
He gave up an average of 14.2 yards on 17 receptions against him.

Tolbert, basically saying needs more reps.

Cooks and MM's take on where he fits in, Lamb mentioned also. Not sure what he means by a digital system vs WCO, but could explain why he waited and learned it before dumping Moore.

The Alarcon move, not to compare the players, but it reminds me of when Mark Tuinei played DT in actual games at one point. Coach did a lot of that though.

Alacron is here for one reason. To promote the NFL in Mexico. That’s the purpose of the foreign player exemptions. He has no chance at ever playing in an NFL regular season game. And yet he has given the NFL all kinds of viewers and notoriety in Mexico the past 2 years. That’s the sole purpose of the program.

digit based, did quick and wasn't hard to find google search.

sounds like the difference is timing vs read style of route running ie qb has timing in steps and progression to hit receivers on specific routes vs the Moore type where the receivers and qb are reading and reacting to coverage on what route is ran.

I watched this and then suscribed to his channel, no frills just football.
he said the digit system is more complicated for the qb ! lol so dak will excel !
It is easier if you have new wr like cooks, it is simple for the wr.

Dak will have to read defense to know where the throw should go and when lol.

Wco is easier for the qb, you dont need to read defense, you have a 123 progression and timing for when to throw it, and that stays the same
regardless of what the defense does. It is also more for quick passes, before the rush can get to qb.
That sounds like what the O should be for dak, but I guess mike thinks he will be better in O where he has to read defense every play lol.

Its more qb and wr friendly they both aren't having to read defenses in MM WCOs system is go run this and you hit step 3,5,7 you throw it to whomever is open within your reads , Moores style both WR and QB can read them differently an causes all the miscommunications even though ill bet you it was the WR who were wrong in many of those miscommunications. the QB has better idea of defense and whats about to happen then that very in experienced WR group we had last year. trusting Tolbert, Brown and a bunch of guys to run the correct routes off what thewy see was trouble. when it was Cooper, Gallup and Lamb and even when Beasly/ Cobb was here , you could trust them to be on the same page with Dak.. its why many of those routes seemed to be ran to close together, or brought the 2 wrs into the same zone or they turned up field when the ball was released in an Out. add in very little separation, its no surprise that INT rate went up. now take away the run game in the playoffs and well there you have it.

Alarcon is a publicity stunt and nothing more. Teams are allowed an extra roster spot for any mexican player on their team. So he's not taking up a roster space. This also gives mexican people a reason to watch training camp or root for the Cowboys.

This just in....Mexico is already Dallas Cowboys territory....they do not need a reason to root for them....they already do. Rather games or TC.
Why else do you think Jerry wants a regular season game played in Mexico City as one of the international games. Rather it is considered a home or away game, it will be filled with Dallas fans.

Thats all true as well. Alarcon is a publicity stunt. If they did have the spot, he would be gone.

has any of those in the same program ever struck a blue chip starter in the nfl?
I’d question whether it’s produced a starter at all, let alone blue chip.

It’s a way for the NFL never to be accused of not offering certain opportunity. Everyone wins.

If there was no roster exemption no one would remember this guys name by now because he would have been cut after his first camp….and if my math is right this is his fourth camp coming up.

Alacron has no exemption status left. However it does not mean he won't be on the PS again as one of the 16.
I rather they use that spot for a real contender though. He has not shown much at OL, I don't know if he will show anything at DT either. My guess is a TC body for that public attention.

So your saying he has no more free passes left? That would make sense why they changed positions.

Yes they can only have so many years as an exemption. I think 4 years. And teams rotate as to who gets that exemption. I think it is 6 or 8 teams, something like that.

Like when they had the league in Europe. Teams were allowed to have 1 or 2 players from those teams during TC to promote international players. As that kept counties interested to see a local player in the NFL TC's.

Good for the NFL to do this actually. Can't blame them for promoting the NFL.

I'm not a fan of keeping alarcon unless they think he can actually make the 53 one day. Find someone else who actually has a chance to develop into a player not just do whatever on the PS.
