Alarcon is a publicity stunt and nothing more. Teams are allowed an extra roster spot for any mexican player on their team. So he's not taking up a roster space. This also gives mexican people a reason to watch training camp or root for the Cowboys.
Chingao amigo.

Alacron is here for one reason. To promote the NFL in Mexico. That’s the purpose of the foreign player exemptions. He has no chance at ever playing in an NFL regular season game. And yet he has given the NFL all kinds of viewers and notoriety in Mexico the past 2 years. That’s the sole purpose of the program.
People are watching games to turn in to players who have no chance of ever playing in an nfl game ? Interesting

How could he be any worse than Taco Charlton ??????
Two games into his third NFL season, 2017 1st rounder \ 28th overall draft pick Viduantae Charlton was released by the Cowboys.
Yet - Dallas is keeping Isaac Alcaron - a player who will begin his fourth year with the team
-but has not played one down in a regular season game - and will turn 25 years old when training commences this summer.

there are versions of the WCO on all offenses..arent that many plays to change the NFL .. KM was calling option routes( air Correal stuff) read defense and decide the route weve been discussing that that what teams do digit or option.. id say with WRs and qbs reading something different, it can lead to miscommunications especially running out Noah brown and Tolbert as #2 and #3 wrs..wasn't smart and im guessing it was mostly their fault on many of those plays where the routes were run wrong and caused a lot of incompletions and INts.
well we cant know whos fault it was, could be both qb and wr?
So going by what you said, there will still be similar plays with dak having to read def and decide where to throw , just like last season.

ILl trust Dak who knows this offense in an out over Brown and tolbert and bunch of jags LOL sorry the dak hate here blinds you all from remembering why Moore was kept in the first pace, to keep dak comfortable with the offense..hes ran it since 2019 with moore and has had great seasons at top 3 Offenses and somehow seem to be on the same page with lamb but the others all until some vet Wrs like cobb, cooper, Beasley, and Wilson who he had a lot of chemistry with are gone and some #4/5 wrs running as 2s.. right easy top make decision on whos at fault.

Some few articles on the mothership site. Will post them all here as opposed to separate threads.

We know Alacron's move to DT. This gives some more explanation. As he has no more eligibility for a PS roster exemption.

As usual, Nick has the most sensible take.
Big guy to take snaps in practice. More useful that way if he can play on both sides of the ball.

He was raw as an olineman. And spent years trying to become a legitimate NFL olineman. And failed. They wouldn't be moving him if he hadn't failed. Is he supposed to become an NFL dlinemen in one offseason? Not gonna happen.

I wish the guy the best, but they've given up on him as an NFL player. Still good money to play on the PS.

I'd tell him to spend an hour a day in the offseason with a jugs machine. A guy who's not quite an NFL olineman but can reliably catch a 3 yard pass might find a place on a roster as a blocking TE.

digit based, did quick and wasn't hard to find google search.

sounds like the difference is timing vs read style of route running ie qb has timing in steps and progression to hit receivers on specific routes vs the Moore type where the receivers and qb are reading and reacting to coverage on what route is ran.

Ding Ding Ding Ding...been saying this, the major diference was never going to be MM using 2 TE's to smash moutht he ball, it is the diference in route scheme's, WCO MM will run is a focus on hot route that wants to create mismatches for that route in coverage 1st read , 2nd read, 3rd read ball comes out or take off but kill the play. KM used option routes 4 wide alot so all 4 WR needed to read the coverage correct and the QB needed to find the open option route while reading it the same as the WR during play.

Thanks for explaining that so well. Nice info to have.

I don’t think it’s a stunt. It’s a long shot and it does promote football in Mexico but that’s just smart business
Odds are slim of a guy like this making it but they are basically free so I’d have one all the time
