I see you're prepared.

You're used to "moral victories" as an Eagles fan aren't you? :laugh2:

Do I know you? Somehow you've managed to peek into my whole gameplan. But yes, I'm preparing myself for the worse; but hoping for the best!

Whatever happens, I know that the Eagles' trophy case will still be empty at the end of this year.

I was looking up Al Saunders' offenses to see where they ranked.

I noticed something. The Eagles rank in the top 5 in offense and defense. They are dangerous, and I think they win this weekend.

They ranked in the top 10, in both categories, last year; they just didn't get in.

Giants VS Eagles

44-6 butt kicking aside,

I hope the Eagles beat them.

Just because they won't bend over and self lubricate, doesn't mean they'll win.

Dude you can't count the "championship" you won in 1960.

Having never won a Super Bowl, I'm sure it's not exactly difficult to prepare. Is it? ;)

Dude ...we can and we do; and it was two NFL Championships!

Listen, not counting an NFL Championship is like a slap in the face to all of those players that made the NFL what it is today. You just can't ignore histroy like that!

Huh!?! I think someone have way too much time on their hands. What a disgusting analogy.

You nor I have done anything lately....these are accomplishments of NFL player; some in the Hall of fame! But those accomplishment are a part of NFL history. who are you to erase/ignore them. Allow me to give you a little history session walk down memory lane.

Those men who played (not so recent ago) did so with leather helmets, and with hardly any protective equipment. While the players of today are much bigger/stronger, it that does not take away from the feats (accomplishments) of yesterday (metaphorically speaking of course). NFL players of today (metaphorically speaking) stand on the shoulders of those early NFL pioneers.

While you ignore parts of history selectively to suit your own argument and garner a snicker from some of your buddies, you should also realize that you denegrate the NFL wholistically (from a macro perspective) regardless of team affiliations!

Tread easy ...I think I hear the whispers of other Cowboy fans who can relate with that fact!

While all championships count, not winning a championship in the SB era makes the Eagles the Chicago Cubs of football. Or at least the NY Rangers.

Yeah, well..............the "majority" had the Cowboys this year "going away", so that's that.

The Eagles? Jaworski, Cunningham, McNubb......whatever.
Vermiel, Buddy Ryan, Kotite, Rhodes, Reid........whatever
Montgomery, Staley, Watters, Westbrook.....whatever
Carmicheal, Barnett, Harold Jackson, T.O., Quick....whatever.

Makes no difference the names, the decade, the age or the conditions.
The Eagle "curse" will prevail. And this lame and sorry franchise, no matter how far they get, WILL LOSE the last game they play every season.
No owner, no coach, no player, is bigger than the curse that they rightfully deserve. Every one of their fans should rot in hell without ever getting a ring as well................

...Myths, Voodoo, superstitious mentalities, incantations, spells, and chants of black curses like the ones you're describing are for children! Come back to reality Here's a little quiz for you ...

In your mystical opinion, would you say the following standings indicate that the Cowboys have somewhat of a curse/spell on them ...

• Jan. 6, 2007 - NFC Wild Card - Seattle 21, Dallas 20
• Jan. 3, 2004 - NFC Wild Card - Carolina 29, Dallas 10
• Jan. 9, 2000 - NFC Wild Card - Minnesota 27, Dallas 10
• Jan. 2, 1999 - NFC Wild Card - Arizona 20, Dallas 7
• Jan. 5, 1997 - NFC Divisional - Carolina 26, Dallas 17
• Dec. 28, 1996 - NFC Wild Card - Dallas 40, Minnesota 15

Now, let's get back to reality... Here's a little quiz for you ...

What team were the Steers, and the Rangers (NFL related names) ...

No, in my "Mystical Opinion" I would say this is what it is.

SB XV - loss
SB XXXIX - loss

The Eagles cant even think about winning 3 in 4 years.... you gotta win ONE first.

Here are some "legendary" iconic NFL Franchises that have exactly ONE (as in Uno, single, "only") more SB Trophy more than the Eggless:

Kansas City
Chicago
St. Louis
Baltimore
Tampa Bay
Indianapolis

Here's the list of teams that belong in the SAME (as in identical, comparable) fraternity as the Beagles...........teams that have NEVER won a SB Trophy:

Buffalo
Cincy
Cleveland
Houston
Jacksonville
Tennessee
San Diego
Detroit
Minnesota
Atlana
Carolina
New Orleans
Arizona
Seattle

Here's the unholy list of teams that will NEVER, EVER, EVER WIN A SB:

Detroit
Seattle
Cleveland
Cincy
New Orleans
THE PHILTHYDELPHIA EGGLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take it to the bank. I have been to the mountain top. And I have seen the scripture. And the oracles have clearly determined and decided "NO RING FOR YOU!!!!"

I may get some flack for this, but honestly, I don't know what I enjoy watching more: The Dallas Cowboys celebrating a SB championship win on a Sunday evening. Or, the annual season ending loss delivered by the Eggless, with McNubb walking off the field, head down and puke on his jersey. And the traditional camera panning the stadium, and watching all the vile, bottom feeding, gutter dwelling trash all pissed off and shuffling their unshaven, fat *** loser bodies to the parking lot.

That yearly video is some of the sweetest footage in the world, and I'm looking forward to it again. If not this week, then next week, or after the SB loss. Whenever it comes, it's inevitable.
