cut or demote Roy to 3rd string Wr and let Dez or somebody else play Garrett. I tired of Roy being careless with the football just like against chicago. We lost because of his stupid fumble and then he smiles about it on the sideline right after the play.
That fumble was huge it too the life right out of us and back into the Saints. We had the game almost wrapped up. Nooo Roy just had to do something stupid to mess that up.

I understand the frustration but go back and look at the big plays we made the past 3 games and Roy is downfield making critical blocks on all of them. There is more to consider.

Well true so Roy is basically a tight end getting paid the big bucks. Ill pass. Hurd can do what Roy does.

I'm not sure that Hurd makes those blocks. I suspect that is why Roy doesn't get cut

Roy does seem to suddenly fumble the ball whenever the game is on the line. It's like clockwork.

That play alone did not lose the game.....easy to point to that, but there were many other things too.

Like the 4th & 1 run to MB call.....just horrible. Then go for a FG with a 4th & goal on the 1.

exactly I was calling for maybe him fumbling when I saw him running with the ball carelessly. I was like please dont fumble Roy and what does he do Fumble. Look how big Roy is. He should of covered the ball up and atleast gave our offense a chance to score and run the time down. Nooooo Roy had to try to be a hero and failed.

What was up with all of the fumbles today. Was we eating to much greasy food before the game or something. It was fumble city out there.

Meh, if he had a completely terrible game or a string of terrible games then maybe. But he had a decent game and one bonehead play.

Cutting a guy for one play like that is not a statement, its an over-reaction.

I understand the angst for Roy. I wanted to throw my remote after that play, and again after he was smiling on the sidelines. But, in all seriousness, let me ask you. Would you have same stance if it had been Miles? He hasn't exactly been reliable this year. Roy's made some great plays and fantastic catches this year. He hasn't been a probowler, but neither has Miles, not this year anyway. Not trying to bait. Just wondering.

I am Ok with Roy, notice he was open, and eveybody is forgetting the two great plays he made to extend plays. One final point, he appears to be the only WR getting open, not too many passes to Miles or Des either that were successful

I don't think he should be cut during the season though. He's still more than serviceable enough to keep on the roster for now.

There is nothing to debate, he'll be gone with the new salary cap in the next CBA.

If Roy doesn't make a great block.. Miles never scores a TD on the reverse.

Roy played well all game until the end. He made a mistake.. just because it was at the end of the game doesn't make it any better or worse then any of our other mistakes today. Fumbles, bad snaps, penalties at bad times, just overall sloppiness.

Roy didn't lose this game. There's no excuse for his fumble, but he did NOT lose this game. Total team effort.

What makes you think Dez is ready to start?

Did you not see him lining up on the wrong side and us losing precious time running him around? Did you not see him being told, more than once, he was leaving the huddle and heading to the wrong side?

He's a great player, but he's still a rookie.

Good point. Plus, he killed the one halfway long run that Barber had, when he was trying to get his position while Hurd was in motion. What resulted was an illegal shift penalty, and the play was nullified. Not trying to kill the guy, but that was an example of a rookie mistake. The guy is deadly, no doubt. But he has to get better at the details.

Yep. That made absolotely NO SENSE. Why would...whatever there's no need to rant about it. Just why?

Felix Jones has fumbled twice as much as Roy Williams in the last two games .. I guess we should cut him right?

I am never surprised by the knee-jerk reactions of fans any more ..

Protecting the ball will be a big focus from Garrett this week.

This won't happen again.

I know that's not much consolation, but it will be addressed.
